Description
A lone space traveler, Avetik, finds his journey cut short when a mysterious collision sends him crashing onto the icy planet of Zroseth. Rescued by a local family, he awakens to a world of breathtaking beauty and chilling contradictions. Majestic, skyscraper-sized "giants" roam the snow-covered landscape, simultaneously creating and destroying the city's silver towers. The devout inhabitants believe these beings are messengers of the gods, punishing them for their sins. As Avetik recovers, his technical skills are seen as wizardry by the locals. But when the city is restored and warmth returns, the people's gratitude turns to cold suspicion. Forced out, Avetik seeks help from an outcast tinkerer named Simon to repair his ship. Their search for parts leads them to a derelict factory, where a shocking discovery awaits. They uncover the truth: the divine giants are not gods, but ancient, decaying robots executing a flawed program to judge and punish the populace. With the system on the verge of catastrophic failure that could lead to genocide, Avetik and Simon are faced with an impossible choice. Can they shut down the machines and free the people from this flawed god, or is the city of Zroseth doomed to be crushed by its own saviors?
