1. Purpose

LitArchive respects the intellectual property rights of creators. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been posted on LitArchive without your permission, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. LitArchive will review the notice and, if valid, remove or disable access to the infringing content.

2. Required Information for a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a valid takedown request, please provide the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (title, author, or other identifying information).
  2. Location of the infringing material on LitArchive, including the URL or other precise location.
  3. Your contact information: full name, address, phone number, and email.
  4. Statement of good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Submitting the Notice

Send your completed DMCA takedown notice to our Copyright Agent at: ani@litarchive.com

Upon receipt, LitArchive will review the notice, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, and notify the user who posted it.

4. Counter-Notification

If your content is removed due to a DMCA claim and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including:

  1. Your contact information.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its original location.
  3. Statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

LitArchive will restore the content unless the complainant files a court action within 10–14 business days.

5. Repeat Infringers

LitArchive reserves the right to terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
