The Theory and the Hound

A man believes the world can be explained. Everything, for him, has structure - cause, effect, logic, a clean sequence that turns chaos into something understandable. He trusts theories more than instincts, more than people, more than anything that cannot be neatly written down. But life has a habit of behaving like a living thing rather than a formula.
