Dylan notices the glasses first.
Not the way Jun pushes them up the bridge of his nose with his middle finger when he’s thinking. Not the way the thin silver frames catch the light.

He notices the way they make Jun’s eyes look bigger.
Rounder.
Shinier.
Like boba pearls floating in dark milk tea — warm, sweet, impossible not to stare at.

Jun doesn’t usually wear glasses in public. Contacts, always. Clean image. Idol image. But tonight they’re alone in the studio long after everyone else has gone home, and Jun has given up pretending his eyes don’t hurt.

He’s sitting cross-legged on the wooden floor, laptop open, hair falling into his face. The dim studio lights glow amber around him, reflecting softly off the lenses.

Dylan leans against the mirror wall, arms crossed. Watching.
“You’re staring,” Jun says without looking up.
“I’m not.”
“You are.”

Jun glances up then — and Dylan’s breath catches.
Because the glasses magnify his eyes just slightly. They look softer. Brighter. Vulnerable. The kind of eyes that don’t belong to the sharp-tongued, controlled Jun everyone else sees.

“Your eyes look ridiculous,” Dylan mutters.
Jun narrows them. “Excuse me?”
“Like…” Dylan pushes off the mirror and walks closer. He crouches down in front of him. “Like those boba pearls. Shiny and round.”
Jun’s lips twitch despite himself. “That’s the worst compliment I’ve ever received.”
“It’s not a compliment.”
“Then stop staring.”

Dylan doesn’t.
He reaches out before thinking, fingers hovering near Jun’s face. Close enough to feel warmth, but not touching.
Jun freezes.
There’s something about Jun in glasses that changes the air between them. Without the sharp styling, without the stage persona — he looks younger. Softer. Less guarded.

Dylan’s voice drops. “You look different.”
Jun swallows. “Bad different?”
“No.” A pause. “Dangerous different.”
Jun laughs quietly. “Because of glasses?”
“Because you look like someone I could ruin.”
The words hang there. Not loud. Not dramatic.
Just honest.

Jun’s shiny eyes flicker — and Dylan sees it. That subtle shift. The way Jun’s confidence falters for half a second.
“You think you could?” Jun asks softly.
Dylan moves closer instead of answering.
He gently takes the frame between two fingers and lifts it slightly, adjusting it properly on Jun’s nose. His touch lingers longer than necessary.
Jun’s breath hitches.

The glasses slide back into place.
Now Dylan can see himself reflected faintly in the lenses — distorted, closer than he expected.
“I don’t like when you look at me like that,” Jun murmurs.
“Like what?”
“Like I’m fragile.”
Dylan’s jaw tightens.
“You’re not fragile,” he says quietly. “You just don’t hide behind contacts right now.”

Jun searches his face through clear lenses. Those bright, boba-dark eyes soften even more.
And then Jun does something unexpected.
He reaches up, slowly, and takes off his glasses.
The world blurs for him — Dylan becomes softer around the edges — but he doesn’t look away.

“Better?” Jun asks.
Dylan shakes his head.
“No.”
He takes the glasses from Jun’s hand and gently puts them back on his face.
“Keep them on.”
Jun’s lips part slightly.
“Why?”
“Because I like seeing everything.”

Jun’s heart stutters at that.
Everything.
Not just the sharp edges. Not just the stage version.
Everything.
The silence between them turns heavy — not uncomfortable, just full. Like something is about to tip over.

Jun’s voice comes out quieter than he intends. “You’re closer than usual.”
“Am I?”
“Yes.”
“Does it bother you?”
Jun hesitates.
Then: “No.”
That’s all Dylan needs.
He leans forward just enough that their foreheads almost touch. Close enough that Jun’s glasses nearly bump into him.
“Careful,” Jun whispers. “You’ll smudge them.”
Dylan smiles faintly. “I don’t mind.”

His fingers slide to Jun’s jaw, tilting his face up slightly. Jun’s eyes widen behind the lenses — round, glossy, vulnerable in a way that makes Dylan’s chest ache.
He presses a slow, gentle kiss to the corner of Jun’s mouth.
Not greedy. Not rushed.
Just enough to make Jun’s breath tremble.
When he pulls back, Jun’s glasses are slightly crooked again.
Dylan doesn’t fix them this time.
Jun looks dazed. Shiny eyes even shinier now.

“You’re impossible,” Jun mutters softly.
“And you’re adorable in glasses.”
Jun groans. “Don’t say adorable.”
Dylan leans in once more, brushing his lips lightly against Jun’s cheek.
“Then don’t look at me like that.”
“Like what?”
“Like I’m the only thing you can see.”

Jun smiles slowly.
Behind clear lenses.
With boba-bright eyes.
“Maybe you are.”
