The beach was empty, except for the restless waves rolling in under the silver glow of the moon. Hong’s shirt fluttered in the breeze, loose and cropped enough to leave a strip of skin exposed at his waist. Nut’s eyes had been glued to that glimpse all night — the curve of him, the way the pale moonlight kissed every line.

“Why do you keep staring?” Hong teased, brushing his hair back, pretending not to know.

Nut stepped closer, the sand crunching under his boots, until there was almost no space left between them. His hand found Hong’s waist, fingers slipping under the soft fabric, feeling the warmth of his skin against the chill of the night. Hong’s breath hitched.

“You drive me crazy,” Nut murmured, voice low and rough, lips grazing Hong’s ear before trailing down the side of his neck. Hong shivered, his hands instinctively clutching Nut’s shoulders, but Nut only pressed harder, his thumb stroking lazy circles over Hong’s bare skin.

The ocean crashed louder behind them, as if it knew something was about to break. Nut tilted Hong’s chin up, his other hand still firm on that dangerous, irresistible waist, and finally took his lips.

The kiss was urgent, wet, hungry — Nut biting gently at Hong’s lower lip, then soothing it with his tongue. Hong gasped into him, arching closer, letting Nut’s grip on his waist guide him, control him. Nut deepened the kiss, mouth devouring, his hand sliding lower just enough to make Hong tremble in anticipation.

When they finally broke apart, both breathing hard, Nut kept his forehead pressed to Hong’s. His palm lingered at Hong’s waist, refusing to let go.

“This part of you…” Nut whispered against his lips, “…it’s mine tonight.”

Hong’s smile was shaky, flushed, but his voice was steady when he replied, “Then don’t ever let go.”

And Nut didn’t.
