Warm, sunny weather, fluffy clouds and light wind. It was one of the working days this week and many people were naturally working.

The multi-storey building located at the top of the slope near the port of Yokohama is a reddish-brown brick building on the fourth floor of which the office of the Armed Detective Agency is located.

There was a lot of work and the office was practically empty. Almost all members of the agency that have paranormal powers are now on missions, the director is in his office, and there is only one employee left in the office — Ranpo Edogawa.

Being one of the very first employees that founded the agency, and also the most revered due to his ability of “Super-deduction”, he completely abandoned his work and therefore sat quietly, leaning back in his chair.

Edogawa is a sought-after detective, without whom many crimes might not even be solved. The agency was founded only for him and only because of him.

The Greatest Detective is also an incredible sweet tooth. Not a single day goes by without candy and he is not going to change anything. Now his stock was beginning to be empty, but it was impossible to call anyone, because everyone were busy, but this was not required, because very soon his sloth brother would come up with a package of such a tasty filling.

In complete silence, sounds were finally heard. Footsteps were heard along the corridor, and with them the rustling of a package. Ranpo slowly raised his head and at the same moment Dazai Osamu walked through the open door.

— Good afternoon, Ranpo-san! Am I late again?

Edogawa smiled. As always, the cheerful brown-haired man, with a smile and such expressive eyes, slowly approached his table.

— Ye-es. You’re late again.

Osamu placed his burden on the table next to his feet. Ranpo could say with complete confidence, without even looking into the package, what was there.

— I decided to stop by on the way. I know you finished your sweets. You don’t have to thank me. — The brown-haired man winked and turned around.

— Hm-m. Stop. — Ranpo removed his feet from the table, and Osamu, meanwhile, turned back — I’m bored. Let’s play a game.

— If that’s what you want, Ranpo-san. What? Chess or… — he was interrupted by Edogawa’s overjoyed words:

— Sit down! — Ranpo stood up from his chair and motioned for Osamu to sit there. Dazai smiled softly and walked around the table and sat down, looking at the back of the detective who was looking for something in the bag.

— Ranpo-san, what kind of ga-? — Edogawa interrupted him again:
— Oh, I found it! —He exclaimed joyfully with a small but long box in his hands. Where Dazai was sitting, it was not visible what was there, and meanwhile Ranpo began to open it.

When he opened it, he took out one stick and turned to Osamu. Then Dazai saw what he was holding: a box of Pocky. It quickly dawned on him that the detective had decided to play a game.

Ranpo bit down on one side of his stick and leaned over Osamu, preventing him from getting up and leaving. He slowly moved closer to his face until the stick came into contact with Dazai’s lips.

Osamu opened his eyes in surprise and slowly, very slowly, bit the other side of the stick. Ranpo closed his eyes in satisfaction and more insistently moved his stick towards Dazai.

The first bite was heard from Edogawa, who seemed amused by Osamu’s reaction. Dazai sat still the same, not moving and almost not breathing. Crunch-crunch. Ranpo’s actions became faster and he quickly approached the middle of the stick, leaving less than five centimeters between their faces.

At the same moment, Dazai felt blood begin to rush to his cheeks. No matter how many girls he kissed, none made him blush as much as he did now. Osamu realized: he wants to finish playing this game. And then his eyes widened even more when, after a couple of seconds of hesitation, Ranpo began to bite more and therefore came closer to his face.

Their lips touched and Edogawa’s smile widened. He moved closer, forcing Dazai’s mouth to open slightly. At the same moment, Ranpo’s tongue quickly pushed inside inside and began moving, to take away the remains of the stick.

Osamu’s face turned completely pink, while Ranpo’s face showed a slight blush. He took all the sweetness and moved away from Dazai, ending the game.

— I won again, Dazai. Perhaps if we play a couple more times we will have a draw. — Ranpo grinned and again took one of the sticks from the box and said — Shall we begin?
