The Red Notebook — Episode 15: (The Missing Piece)

Yuri couldn't stop thinking about the USB.

Mrs. Han had it now.

Her father had given it to her.

But the question was still the same—

Why?

That night, Yuri opened the red notebook again.

She went through every page carefully.

Names.

Dates.

Places.

Everything connected to the old case.

Then she noticed something she had never seen before.

A small number was written in the corner of one page.

H-17.

Yuri immediately remembered the USB.

It had the same mark.

She quickly opened the HAN file on her laptop.

There it was.

H-17.

Underneath it was a date.

The same date printed on the old photograph.

Yuri stared at the screen.

The USB wasn't random.

It was connected to the old case.

And Mrs. Han wasn't simply carrying it for no reason.

She had been given it because something inside the USB could prove what really happened.

Yuri leaned back.

For the first time, some pieces were finally beginning to fit.

Her father hadn't quit because the case was unimportant.

He had quit because someone had forced him to stop.

Then Yuri's phone buzzed.

Unknown Number.

One message appeared:

“You're getting closer.”

Yuri stared at it.

She typed:

“Who are you?”

For the first time, there was a reply almost immediately.

“Someone who has been watching.”

Yuri's fingers froze.

Another message appeared.

“You still don't understand how much I know.”

Yuri looked around her room.

The window was locked.

The door was closed.

Everything was quiet.

Then the final message arrived:

“Tomorrow night. 12:00 AM.”

Yuri frowned.

“Why?”

The typing bubble appeared.

Then disappeared.

Nothing.

Yuri looked at the clock.

11:57 PM.

Three minutes remained.

She didn't know why.

But somehow, she knew—

Tomorrow would change everything.
