The Red Notebook — Episode 14: (The Photograph)

Yuri couldn't stop thinking about what she had seen.

Her father had given the USB to Mrs. Han.

But why?

Mrs. Han was only a client.

At least, that's what Yuri had always believed.

She looked at the photograph on her phone again.

Mrs. Han was standing outside the café, holding the same black USB.

Yuri zoomed in.

Something was written on the USB.

A tiny white mark.

H-17.

Yuri's heart skipped.

She had seen that mark before.

It was written on one of the pages inside the HAN file.

Before she could think any further, her phone buzzed.

Unknown Number.

A new message appeared:

“Your father gave her the USB for a reason.”

Yuri stared at the screen.

Another message appeared.

“Don't ask Mrs. Han about it.”

Yuri frowned.

Then came the final message:

“She isn't the one you should be afraid of.”

Yuri slowly looked around.

The street was quiet.

No one was following her.

Or at least, she couldn't see anyone.

She looked back at the photograph.

There was something else in the background.

A man standing near the café entrance.

His face was hidden.

He seemed to be watching Yuri's father and Mrs. Han.

Yuri's heart began to race.

Someone had been watching the entire meeting.

Yuri's phone buzzed one last time.

“Now you know who has the USB.”

She stared at the message.

Then another line appeared.

“The question is—who wants it back?”
