The Red Notebook — Episode 11: (What Was Left Behind)

Yuri couldn't stop thinking about her father's reaction.

“What was left behind in Room 214?”

She needed to know.

That evening, she waited until her father left the house.

Then she quietly entered his study.

She didn't want to steal anything.

She only wanted an answer.

Yuri opened the drawer where her father kept his old case files.

Most of them were neatly arranged.

But one folder looked different.

It was thinner than the others.

On the front, there was only one word:

HAN.

Yuri's hands froze.

She opened it.

Inside were several old documents, but most of the pages had been removed.

Only one photograph remained.

A picture of Room 214.

Yuri turned it over.

On the back, someone had written:

8:40 PM.

Her heart began beating faster.

Then she noticed something in the photograph.

Near the door was a small black object.

Yuri zoomed in with her phone.

It looked like a USB drive.

“So that's what was left behind…”

Suddenly, she heard the front door open.

Her father was back.

Yuri quickly put everything exactly where she had found it and left the study.

She reached her room just before her father came upstairs.

Her phone buzzed.

Unknown Number.

“You found the file.”

Yuri froze.

She typed:

“How do you know?”

The reply came almost immediately.

“Because you're looking in the right place.”

Yuri stared at the screen.

Then another message appeared.

“But the file isn't the thing you should be looking for.”

Yuri frowned.

“Then what should I look for?”

The typing bubble appeared.

Disappeared.

Then—

“Find out who took the USB.”

Yuri's eyes widened.

Someone had taken the USB.

But who?

And why had they left the photograph behind?

Yuri opened the red notebook.

She turned to the page marked 214.

She took out her pen and wrote beneath the existing clue:

“WHO TOOK THE USB?”

Then she closed the notebook.

She had another mystery to solve.
