Two big cups stood on the table.
One purple, the other yellow.
The room smelled beautifully of cocoa.
In the center of the table lay a pack of white marshmallows in a cute wrapper.
Sunlight from the window hit several paintings pinned to the wall.
On the bed next to the table lay a tall, thin boy with long black hair.
It had already been two months since he stopped painting.
Every day he woke up, made cocoa, and opened a new pack of marshmallows.
With the money he earned over all these years, he could have moved to the center of the city long ago and bought a big house.
But he remained loyal — to him.
To himself.
Everything that happened in this house was the most important part of his life.
This house was his whole life.
Lying on his back, he stretched his hand toward the sunbeam, opened his fingers, and began to speak.
"Hey, Felix… Why is it that you shine so brightly for everyone, yet I still can’t find you? Where are you?"
The door to the living room began to open.
Hyunjin’s heart stopped.
"Felix?" he asked hopefully.
But there was no one behind the door.
He lowered his hand off the bed and lowered his gaze…
